Compliance with ISO 13849-1 (the basis for the safety assessment of complex machine control systems), confirmed by SGS
-
Compliance with ISO 10218-1 (Robots and robotic devices - Safety requirements for robots) industrial)
One of the main arguments for investing in a welding cobot is the high level of safety it offers. The devices are equipped with advanced collision detection systems that automatically stop the robot's operation if an obstacle is detected. Built-in torque and force sensors enable precise adjustment of operation to environmental conditions. This allows the cobot to safely interact with humans without the need for heavy protective guards.
Safety management systems allow for individual adjustment of the robot's operating parameters, depending on the specific nature of the process and the risk level. This makes our solutions not only effective but also compliant with the highest safety standards.
Furthermore, regular user training in safe operation and the availability of professional service increase the confidence that working with a welding cobot is risk-free.
In what situations is a welding cobot useful?
The welding cobot is ideal for welding carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum, both in mass production and for short batches of complex-shaped parts. These devices are extremely versatile and flexible, making them suitable for a variety of industries and production conditions.
-
Mass production - cobots ensure high repeatability, ideal for large batches.
-
Small-batch production - quick changeover allows for flexibility with changing orders.
-
Welding of irregularly shaped parts - advanced algorithms allow for precise work with non-standard shapes.
-
Individual production - ease of programming allows for quick implementation of the cobot for single tasks.
Thanks to the versatility of our devices, each welding cobot can successfully support both large industrial plants and smaller manufacturing companies. Regardless of the scale of operation, the benefits of automation are almost immediately visible. Companies that decide to invest in cobots not only gain efficiency and quality but also increase their competitiveness in the market. FAQ - Questions and Answers - Welding Cobot
Welding cobot - what is the warranty period?
The standard warranty is one year + 6 months for commissioning and implementing the cobot. There is an option to extend the warranty to a total of 5 years for an additional fee.
Do welding cobots require regular servicing?
The Dobot welding cobot does not require the classic, cyclical maintenance activities associated with traditional mechanics, such as lubrication, replacement belt, etc.
What if a welding cobot fails?
We act quickly and specifically - we diagnose and replace the specific component that is actually causing the problem. In the case of our cobots, we can make a precise diagnosis of what has failed. This often eliminates the need for costly replacements, large parts assemblies, and replacing the entire joint is usually a last resort.
If the welding cobot cannot be repaired and returned to working order within 7 days, we will provide a new robot, which will be sent to you, and the existing one will be sent to the service center for in-depth diagnostics and repair.
What is the availability of spare parts? for the cobot?
All components for the welding cobot are available from warehouses in Germany, so delivery and replacement are usually next day.
